recover with our specialized therapists in an assisted stretch or cupping session. our assisted stretch and cupping sessions are offered in a variety of durations.

cupping therapy involves placing cups on the skin to create gentle suction, promoting increased blood flow, reduced muscle tension, and enhanced overall wellness. this treatment is perfect for those looking to alleviate pain, reduce stress, and boost recovery. our practitioner offers dry, flash, and dynamic movement techniques within each session to ensure a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

all resilience reformer pilates sessions are designed to accommodate beginners based on the resistance of the machine.

our team of instructors is able to meet you where you're at while providing regressions and progressions as needed.

in order to build stability we believe consistency is key! depending on your personal accommodation we believe the best way to achieve results is through consistency on a weekly basis. the amount of time that your body needs to recover is dependent on your personal fitness level and nutrition.

if you are taking advantage of our recharge or recover sessions at lalita method, you may find your body recovers differently.

everyone's body will respond differently. usually individuals who attend multiple sessions a week will build their resilience and begin to feel stronger. in order to see results, it's imperative to continue to show up and put in the work. remember — consistency is key! guests generally notice changes within their body in a 30-60 day timeframe.

please arrive at your first session 15 minutes prior to your session start time. our workout is completed with grip socks. if you do not own or have grip socks, we have them available for purchase at the front desk upon arrival. shoes are not permitted on machines. please bring a non-glass water bottle to stay hydrated; glass is not permitted in the studio for safety reasons. in our studio we have water fountains and bottled water available for purchase, as well.

GENERAL

cancellation by participant: cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled session time to receive a full refund or reschedule. cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled session time will not be refunded. if a session is booked within 12 hours prior to a session start time, there are no refunds or cancellations available. cancellations made less than 12 hours prior the session start time will incur a $10.00 late fee. if a client does not show up for a session, the session will be forfeited, and a $10.00 fee will be applied.

cancellation by studio: lalita method reserves the right to cancel the class for any reason, in which case a full refund or rescheduled class will be offered to the participant.

If you choose to double book classes, note that if you do not attend one of the classes, your credit will still be subject to our late cancellation policy.

Consistency is essential! In order to see results from any of our wellness modalities, the key to achieving results is showing up regularly. Whether you can commit to one session of Reformer Pilates or Recharge session per week or three, the key is consistency.  Our Reformer Pilates workout session is designed to push yourself outside of your comfort zone while building resilience which makes the Recharge and Recover process a crucial part of our overall wellness offerings. As everyone’s body is different the amount of time you will need to recharge and recover will depend on your individual fitness level and nutritional habits.

The safety of both mom and baby is our top priority. If your doctor has given you the all-clear and you have been in regular attendance at Lalita Method in the Reformer Pilates sessions,  nothing is standing in the way of you and your next session. Be sure to inform your coach about your pregnancy before class starts, so we can offer any necessary modifications.

Lalita Method advises that pregnant women do not attend sessions for the following session offerings:

  • Infrared Sauna
  • Cold Plunge
  • Cupping Therapy

Pregnant women are generally advised to avoid saunas, including Infrared Saunas, due to the risk of overheating. Elevated body temperature during pregnancy can potentially harm the developing baby, especially in the first trimester. Therefore Lalita Method advises that pregnant women do not attend a session in the Infrared Sauna.

Pregnant women are typically advised to avoid extreme temperature changes, including Cold Plunges. Rapid exposure to cold can cause the body to go into shock, leading to potential complications for both the mother and the baby. Therefore Lalita Method advises that pregnant women do not attend a session in the Cold Plunge.

Cupping Therapy during pregnancy is commonly not recommended, particularly in the abdominal, lower back, and certain other areas. The suction created during cupping could potentially cause harm or discomfort. Additionally, pregnancy is a time of increased sensitivity, and cupping may not be well-tolerated. Therefore Lalita Method advises that pregnant women do not attend a Cupping Therapy session.

Pregnant women can typically participate in Assisted Stretching sessions, but with some important considerations. It’s crucial that our Assisted Stretching provider is informed that you are pregnant in order to tailor the specific needs of pregnancy, avoiding any positions or stretches that could put undue pressure on the abdomen or joints. Assisted stretching should be gentle and focus on improving flexibility and relieving tension, particularly in areas that can become tight during pregnancy, such as the lower back, hips, and shoulders. If your doctor has given you the all-clear before starting or continuing assisted stretching, and it’s important that you work with one of our practitioner’s who is experienced in prenatal care.

The minimum age to take class is 18.

If your class is canceled due to inclement weather, you’ll receive a notification beforehand.

If you haven't been notified, please assume the class is still on.

Due to safety precautions, unattended children (under the age of 18) are not permitted in the Lalita Method at any time. We ask that clients please make alternate arrangements for childcare, as children cannot wait in the community area of the studio while a parent/guardian takes class.

Reformer Pilates
To minimize distractions for yourself, your coach, and fellow classmates, please keep your phone safely tucked away during any Reformer Pilates sessions. If you bring your phone into the Reformer Pilates session, kindly set it to silent or airplane mode and refrain from using it during the session.

Infrared Sauna
Lalita Method does not recommend bringing your phone into an infrared sauna. The high heat and humidity can potentially damage electronic devices, including phones. For the safest experience, it's advised to leave your phone outside the Infrared Sauna. Lalita Method is not responsible for any damage to your personal phone should you choose to bring it in the Infrared Sauna with you.

Cold Plunge
Lalita Method does not recommend bringing your phone into a cold plunge. The extreme cold and moisture can damage electronic devices, including phones. For the safest experience, it's advised to leave your phone outside the Cold Plunge. Lalita Method is not responsible for any damage to your personal phone should you choose to bring it in the Cold Plunge with you.

Cupping Therapy
To minimize distractions for yourself and your provider please keep your phone safely tucked away during your Cupping Therapy session. If you bring your phone into the Cupping Therapy session, kindly set it to silent or airplane mode and refrain from using it during the session.

Assisted Stretching
